Joshua's Law in Georgia refers to a set of requirements for teenage drivers ages 15-17. This law mandates that teenagers complete a driver education course before obtaining their Class D driver's license in Georgia. The course includes 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training. Additionally, teen drivers must also complete 40 hours of supervised driving, with at least 6 of night driving. This law aims to ensure that teen drivers receive proper training and experience before they are granted full driving privileges.
